Field trips for schools- We found that if we divide grade school students into small groups and move them through ‘stations’ at the museum, they are engaged and enthusiastic. We ask teachers to give us a list of subjects they want to highlight and our hosts incorporate the list into their brief presentations. Children get to touch some of the artifacts and learn about how earlier generations of children lived. Students leave the museum with a small goodie bag of pencils, printed material, postcards, and a personalized student membership card. Our field trips get great reviews and we enjoy the opportunity to share local history with our citizens of tomorrow!

For High School students and adult groups, we’ll personalize the visit as you request.
