
Laurel Hill Cemetery serves as the final resting place for most of the original citizens of Weston.

Henry Schlosser was born in Russia, 1805. He designed his lovely metal monument unique and the only one in this cemetery.
This unique headstone has an angel praying for mercy atop a caine ( a pile of rocks) as a sign of respect for the dead and features a scroll representing the scriptures. with a cross and crown for victory and Christianity.

Father Time and Weeping Virgin, a Masonic carving symbolizing that time, patience and perserverance will accomplish all things.

A unique child's grave, a small hat, a rose, calla lily, fern and Easter lily bouquet symbolizing beauty, innocence, resurrection and purity.

Many of these soft lime headstones have started deteriorating, falling over and are becoming unreadable.
