Exhibits feature displays depicting life in Platte County from
prehistoric days through World War II, including household items,
tools, glassware and china, furniture, historic documents and
everyday items of the past.
The museum was founded through the efforts of many Weston
citizens and the tireless leadership of Bertha Bless and Dr. R.J.
Felling.
Marian Gaskill served as the president of the museum for more
than 30 years. She is currently President Emeritus.
Diza Eskridge serves as the president of the Board and works
with the Curator, Carolyn Bless Larsen and the Director, Ann
Saugstad, to continue the legacy of the early volunteers so that
Weston's fascinating history will live on.
A Museum Board of Trustees and Museum Officers support the
volunteers and part time staff in their unending commitment to
preserve the area's history and welcome visitors.
The Museum offers a variety of Mini-Tours for groups of 15 or
more, with advance arrangements. For further information call
